Robin Of Sherwood from Genii has a theme Everyone immediately recognizes. The main character is of course Robin Hood and with him on the wheels he has both Lady Marian and brother Tuck. The story is probably very familiar. Prince John and the sheriff of Nottingham are sucking out the population and it's up to Robin and his cheerful gang to fight back!

Genii has provided its Robin Of Sherwood slot with a wide range of interesting features. You get to play with stacked wilds, free spins and multi-multipliers. The game also offers an extensive bonus game with a clearly innovative touch. Read more below and don't miss out on trying it out for free!

About Robin Of Sherwood Castle

Robin Hood was, according to legend, an outlaw man who lived in the Sherwood Forest north of Nottingham in the early 13th century. However, if there was actually a single person who called himself Robin Hood, historians are very doubtful. Presumably, the character Robin Hood is a kind of interweaving of all the Outlaws who stood up to Prince John's terror and excessive tax collection when Richard The Lionheart was out on the crusade.

Geniuses slot Robin Of Sherwood reproduces the classic picture of the Legends. Here we meet Robin sea lv, brother Tuck and Lady Marian . The symbols also include Prince John, a bishop and the sheriff of Nottingham. However, Little John and Will Scarlet have not found a place on the reels.

The graphics of the symbols have a character of caricature and, in fairness, it should be said that it is not very impressive. The wheel alignment itself is not particularly nice either. A wooden frame surrounds the wheels and in the background trees and foliage from the Sherwood Forest are glimpsed. Funnily enough, however, the game's animations are very nice with delicious 3D effects.

We are also fans of the background music and the soundscape. After all, all$ing Robin Hood breathes adventure, and that's exactly what the character soundscape provides.

Stakes and winnings

Robin Of Sherwood has five reels and three rows. In total, 20 lines are drawn across the screen and you decide how many you want to play. As usual, however, it is a less good idea to play fewer lines than the maximum.

Interestingly, you can also enter both coin value and bet level separately. You can thus precisely adjust all three bet settings. The coin values are 0.10, 0.50, 1 and 2.50$respectively. The number of coins you can play per line is 1 – 5. With these conditions, you play your spins for bets between 2 – 1000$. Unlike most other slots from Genii, this slot is thus more adapted to highroller stakes .

There is no indication of maximum winnings in the rules of the game. You will also not find any indication of RTP, which is noteworthy. However, it should be that maximum win is 120,000 coins and the recipe for such a win is wilds on all positions. Should this happen in free spins bonuses the maximum win should be 240,000 coins. This signals a slightly higher volatility, but the task we have is that the risk is ”medium”.

Our Rating

If you look in the game's paytable, you will find a total of thirteen symbols for the base game. Four of these are special symbols while the other nine are regular paying icons. In the free spins round, an additional special symbol is added.

The symbol that pays decidedly best is the stacked Joker. It can pay up to 6000 times the coin value for a hit with five in a row. The scatter symbol also gives a reasonably generous maximum win. Prince John, Brother Tuck, the Bishop, a quiver and an arrow board act as medium win symbols while classic A-J's act as low win symbols.

Game features

When you look out over the game screen for the first time, chances are you think the game is basically free of special features. It is the somewhat boring graphics that give that impression. However, nothing could be more untrue. You have a real large m on̈ ngd innovative features discover.

The first special we are going to mention is the game's wild symbols. These are stacked on all wheels and they can do real good. First, they act as classic replacement symbols. Second, all line wins that include at least one wild are doubled.

Lady Marian has been given the honorable role of appearing as a scatter symbol. As such, she is responsible for giving you both a cash win and free spins. Her rewards follow from the schedule below.

3 scatters = 2x bets + 6 free spins

4 scatters = 10x bets + 9 free spins

5 scatters = 90x bets + 12 free spins

Free spins

The free spins start immediately after enough scatters have appeared. Here you play with the same stakes as in the base game and you get the advantage that all winnings are doubled. This also applies to the wild symbols, which means that Joker wins quadruple .

Robin himself has a little special to offer in the free spins bonus. Every now and then (or quite often, to be honest) he appears and shoots an arrow at the wheels. The result will be an additional joker on a certain position.

Raid the castle

In terms of the number of features and their character, we would have been satisfied with the above collection. Genii, however, has ocks to f start the game with a bonus . It is both activated in a somewhat special way and be very special.

From time to time you will see carts with gold on the screen. Each time you get at least two of these, gold coins are added to the stack you see to the right of the fifth reel. The more carts, the more gold coins (up to 15 pieces for five carts!). When you have filled the entire stack, a bonus game is activated in four levels.

The sheriff, however, wants a word in the game. If the sheriff's special symbol appears on at least two positions, one or more gold coins are erased instead. Fortunately, very sparsely with Sheriff symbols are found on the reels!

The first level of the bonus game is the Taxation Tent. Here you choose from five Golden gifts, three of which bring profit. It remains only to click on one of the gifts and trust the luck. Then, if you're lucky, you'll get to move on to the Castle Courtyard, Storehouse, and finally the Throne room. When "collect" appears, the bonus game ends.

Double or double

If you like to have the chance to double or double your winnings, Robin Of Sherwood offers you the opportunity to double or quadruple your winnings.

Robin Of Sherwood has its charm. For example, the game has a huge amount of interesting and innovative bonus features. If you like slots with a greater depth, Robin Of Sherwood can be an exciting choice.

Geniis slot is also unfortunately drawn with disadvantages. For example, we do not understand why the game developers have not put more effort into the graphics. It is also very strange that no figure for repayment is presented. If you don't know what RTP a game has, the gaming experience becomes a bit like buying the pig in the sack.

The alternatives to Geniis slot are many. In fact, almost every major self-respecting game developer has a slot on the theme. NetEnt has its Robin Hood: shifting Riches and Rabcat / Microgaming has its Robin Of Sherwood . Other game developers with a slot on the theme are NextGen (Prince of Tweets) and Bally (Lady Robin Hood).
