Leonardo Da Vinci was, as you are sure to know, a multitasker of rank. He was an artist, mathematician, inventor – well, there weren't many areas he didn't master. So here in our days he is very associated with mysteries, not least thanks to the painting Mona Lisa and the novel The Da Vinci Code. Precisely mysteries linked to the Italian Renaissance man are what adventurer John Hunter will explore in Pragmatic Play's slot.

Symbols

The high-win symbols depict adventurer John Hunter (a Rich Wilde copy?), a book, a bag, a model of a helicopter and a crossbow. The low win symbols are A-9. We must say that the symbols are very stylish. Every pixel is right and they also all have nice animations when winning. Here the game developers have probably looked a bit at Betsoft's concept for animations that make the symbols seem to be lifted out of the screen.

Wilds

The Wild symbol represents Leonardo himself. It is the replacement symbol for all icons except for the scatter. That's just on the first wheel it can not land.

Scatters

The symbol depicting a classic cryptex (a cylinder with a code lock) is the bonus symbol. It can only appear on reels 2-4 and if you just get three scatters, an animation is activated where one of three bonuses is randomly generated. What they are, you can see below.

The map mission

The map quest is a nicely designed bonus game. However, it may not be so lucrative and not so exciting either. Your task is to click on a wheel of fortune on which there are five fields. The fields marked 1-5 give you the same number of steps on the map, while the field marked ”game is over” of course ends the round. The further you get on the map, the more you win. If you reach the finish line, your profit will be 100 times the stake.

Free spins

The free spins bonus In Da Vinci's Treasure can become an incredibly lucrative story. This is where you have the chance to win up to 500,000 coins! If the round is triggered, you get to play 12 free spins with a multiplier that increases by 1x with each new spin.

Summary

Da Vinci's Treasure impresses with a very nice graphics. The game is really attractive and it invites games. Overall, Pragmatic Play is really good at creating games with a depth in the theme and Da Vinci's Treasure is a good example.

The bonus features, in our opinion, are clearly reasonable. However, we would have liked to see a little greater chances of bigger wins in the bonus game with the map. The free spins bonus is a really exciting story where every spin on paper becomes more and more lucrative.
