Big Buck Bunny is one of very few licensed slots from the game developer Mercury . The basis is an animated short film (only 12 minutes long!) which is about a big, fluffy rabbit that has to be tamed with three bullying rodents that make a mess in nature you will find this game that is a big favorite of casino with New Zealand license online. In this review about the Big Buck Bunny, we get acquainted with both the Big Buck itself and the rowdy rodents. The game is otherwise in the old classic "Mercury format" with five paylines and a very simple game idea. Here in our review we tell you everything you need to know to play. You can also play for free without risk!

About Big Buck Bunny

The short film Big Buck Bunny was released in 2008 by a film studio named Blender Institute. The idea of this film (and a number of others from the same studio) was to create the most vivid and most high definition animated production n on̊ gonsin . In fact, ever since 2008, The Big Buck Bunny has been used to show the quality of new televisions.

The story of the short film itself is straightforward. A large white rabbit wakes up in the morning and knocks out in the sun. Shortly thereafter, he is greeted by a chipmunk and his bullying friends. However, the rabbit is not the one who allows teasing rodents to ravage freely, but he puts hard against hard and in the end calm is restored.

If now the short film Big Buck Bunny is a formidable masterpiece, the same cannot be said about Mercury's slot. However, the game is not as rudimentarily designed as many of the other games from the developer. In the background is a lovely green lawn and four of the symbols (the rabbit and the three brawlers) are taken directly from the film. The symbols are also animated.

Big Buck Bunny does not have any background music in the base game, but well in the free spins round. It's a dramatic story taken from when the big fluffy bunny starts to put hard on hard. The spinning of the reels is accompanied by a small cheery loop and all wins are accompanied by sound effects.

Big Buck Bunny at the casino

The game is a bit of an outsider at the casino. It is definitely not every casino online that offers the game. Some casino Swish this is not the case, as these casinos are usually new casinos. Do you look at them instead casinos without wagering requirements have we seen more online casinos who offers Big Buck Bunny. Dunder casino , GoGo casino and Casino games is also a couple of options where you have the game with the wild rabbit available for play.

Bets & Winnings

Big Buck Bunny has five wheels and three rows . The number of paylines is five and they are all always in play. To select a bet, click on the coin symbol at the bottom of the screen. Then eight ”finished” insert sizes appear. You play a spin on the game for between 50 cents and 100$ . It is a kind of standard for games from Mercury. For faster play, you can choose to enable autoplay. Then you do not have to click away from the double or the double feature that otherwise appears after each win.

If you look at the winning plan of the game, you will see that the rabbit symbol pays b gist . In fact, he pays huge sums. With five in a row on a Payline, you comb home the whole 1000 g on̊ the stakes . If you succeed in the feat in the free spins round, you win three times as much with the multiplier of 3x. five rabbits on all five paylines give a whopping 15,000 times the stake in the free spins round. However, whether there is ever any player who has succeeded in this feat is unclear.

Overall, Big Buck Bunny, like most Merkur slots, is a slot with high risk . You can't count on very regular wins, but even modest symbol combinations can give a lot of clink at the cash register. Interestingly, you always get at least insert back n are you winning . Even the 10 symbol pays well!

The RTP for Big Buck Bunny is exactly 96%, which we think is a clearly approved figure for a slot of this type. Not many Mercury slots are higher.

Symbols

There are a total of ten symbols on the five reels, including two special symbols. The rabbit is both wild and high paying icon while the logo symbol is scatter. The three rodents are medium win symbols while A, k, Q, J and 10 are low win symbols. As I said, however, even the playing card symbols clearly pay decently.

Among the three rodents, the chipmunk (the leader of the gang) brings the biggest winnings with up to 20 times the stake. The other two rodents pay up to 15x and 10x, respectively.

Game features

With two special symbols there are of course (at least) two special features. In Big Buck Bunny you get to play with wilds, multipliers and a bonus with freespins .

Wilds

When the Rabbit appears and completes a Payline, he will replace existing symbols like a joker. In that role, he acts just like traditional jokers. However, he does not give a multiplier or the like.

Unlike most other Mercury slots, the Joker appears quite often. It is also not uncommon for him to actually create his own Payline.

Scatter

The logo symbol is featured on reels 1, 3 and 5. If you get a scatter on each of these reels, you win free spins. The number is determined completely randomly and the outcome will be 10, 15, 25 or 50 spins . You can probably easily figure out that you are more often rewarded with 10 spins than 50! You have every opportunity to re-activate the free spins bonus. You only get one more series of three scatters.

Once your spins are up and running, an a multiplier of 3x p all possible profits . A hit with, for example, four Chipmunks does not give 50 times the bet, but a full 150 times the bet. A single, slightly more unusual hit may be enough to make your bankroll explode!

Double or double

Mercury's traditional and very popular double feature is featured in Big Buck Bunny. Once you have hit one or more wins on a spin, you will be given the opportunity to choose between two ways to gamble your win.

The first option is to try doubling by choosing red or black. The second option is to try to climb a ladder. The latter can provide significantly more overall, but it is also a riskier option.

Summary

Big Buck Bunny is a classic 5×3 slot from Merkur. However, it offers, in our opinion, a little more entertainment than many of the sister castles. There is actually a story in the background and both the graphics and the sound are a bit more sharpened. After All, Big Buck Bunny dock is a slot you should play if you want to take higher risk and aim p on̊ the really big wins . The entertainment value is not the highest.

We can recommend Big Buck Bunny to those who want a slightly more attractive entrance to Mercury's world of simpler video slots. If you appreciate this machine, you then have a variety of functionally similar games to try your luck on.
