Mega Casino Review

How we rate casinos

To rate Mega Casino we work through the same checklist as for every other casino here: who holds the licence and in which register it appears, what the bonus terms actually require, which payment methods the cashier lists for New Zealand players, what the site states about payout times and limits, and which responsible gambling tools it provides.

The rating changes when those documents change, not when an impression changes. We do not open accounts, deposit or claim bonuses ourselves; where this page describes how something works at Mega Casino, it is because the operator has put it in writing.

Mega Casino Look & Feel

4.5 /5

As we’ve seen in this Mega Casino review, the interface is intuitive and easy to understand, and all the sections are clearly explained and fully optimized for mobile and desktop use. You have access to a handy search tool that will quickly take you to your desired game.

The website also puts at your disposal an information button on every game that will show you the minimum and maximum bets, RTP, and other essential features.

We rate the platform 4.5/5 for this section due to its lack of a provider filter, slightly outdated look, and lack of applications. You might have a better visual and navigational experience on the SkyCity Online Platform.

Look and Feel Verdict

• Navigation: Intuitive and beginner-friendly but lacks a provider filter.
• Loading speed: Both desktop and mobile devices performed very well.
• Graphics & Design: The graphics and design look outdated for the current industry trends.
• Overall verdict: We consider the platform to provide more than enough favorable features but could improve its visual aspects.

Mega Casino Slot Games

5 /5

While browsing the pokie collection during this Mega Casino review, NZ punters will find over 7726 games from 96 top providers, including NetEnt, Play’n Go, and Microgaming.

Furthermore, the betting limits are inclusive enough to suit low rollers and seasoned players, so this site is among our list of top NZ pokies gambling sites.

We award Mega Casino with a maximum rating for the pokie section. If you’d like another top alternative, try Wheelz Casino’s 1000 pokies from more than 60 providers.

Pokies Verdict

We think most NZ punters will have a great pokie experience while on Mega due to the betting limits made suitable for new and experienced players alike.

You can also play popular progressive jackpots, megaways, bonus buys, and other well-known games.

Mega Casino Licensing & Security

4.5 /5

One of the great features we noticed in this Mega Casino review is its license from the Malta Gaming Authority, one of the strictest regulatory bodies in the industry. Very few operators have an MGA license in the NZ online gaming market.

This ensures you have the platform’s safest and most transparent gambling experience possible. We rate Mega with a 4.5/5score for this section.

Besides the prestigious license the operator owns, the operator also lists these security measures:

• SSL Encryption

MGA

License number: MGA/CRP/171/2009/01

Is Mega Casino Legit?

Since the MGA licenses Mega Casino, we consider this platform legitimate and trustworthy. This authority supervises gambling activities and provides a safe betting environment.

Our Verdict

Our editors recommend Mega Casino to most NZ players due to its excellent game collection, which includes over 8180+ titles from top providers like Evolution, NetEnt, and Pragmatic.

Regardless if you’re a low roller or a veteran gambler, you will find a suitable game to play with bets starting at NZ$0.10 and going up to NZ$5000 on live tables. Furthermore, you can deposit as little as NZ$10 on all available banking methods and instantly withdraw your money on a few.

However, we would like to see the operator improve the website’s design and graphics to better match the current trends and have a more modern and vivid look.
