CasinoList is run by a small editorial team that works from documents rather than from personal play. Casino reviews, bonus pages, payment guides and the legal sections all go through the same team, and none of them carries an individual byline: the checks behind a page do not depend on who performed them.
How the work is split
One person builds the draft from primary sources — the licence entry in the regulator’s register, the operator’s terms and conditions, the separate bonus terms, the cashier page and the lobby. A second person then reads it with a narrower and more suspicious brief: every figure has to lead back to the document it came from, and anything that cannot be traced is cut rather than rounded off or estimated.
What the second read checks
The wagering multiplier, the maximum bet while a bonus is live, the expiry window and the withdrawal cap are matched against the bonus terms; payment limits and stated payout times against the cashier page; the licence holder and its status against the register. The wording is read the same way, for anything that presents a deposit, a withdrawal or an evening at the tables as ours when the team holds no player accounts.
Keeping pages current
Offers expire, terms are rewritten and licences change hands, so a page is only as good as its last check. Each one carries the date it was last read against its sources, and that date moves only when the sources are read again. An offer that can no longer be found in the operator’s own terms is marked as gone rather than left standing.
Corrections
A wrong figure is worth reporting through the contact page: it is corrected on the page itself and the check date is moved forward. The method behind the ratings is set out under how we review casinos, and the rules the team works to are on the publishing policy page.
